Set idyllically in a Georgian country house surrounded by 2.5 acres of lawns, paddocks, woodland and children’s gardens, including our paddock with Monet the miniature Shetland pony, Daisy our dwarf dexter, Pepper, Poppy, Ping & Pong our Suffolk sheep, and our small flock of chickens providing us with daily fresh eggs for the children to collect.
Ellingham House – Simply “Outstanding” – Ofsted 2019, 2015, 2009, 2006
We were delighted to receive this most laudable accolade from Ofsted. Please refer to the full Inspection Report at the Ofsted website – https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/.
In Ofsted’s own words the accreditation of ‘Outstanding’ means:- “This applies to provision which is exceptional. It is highly effective at making sure that the outcomes for children are excellent. The childcare practice is exemplary. Nursery education is of such high quality that three and four-year-old’s learning and achievement are exceptional in relation to their starting points and capabilities. The practice is so good that it is worth disseminating beyond the setting.”
